Feasibility studies to determine the technical and economic viability of projects

Technical consulting services to define a project's technical requirements, assess potential risks to clients and to represent their interest through the engineering, design and construction.

Engineering and design from initial conceptual design through to process design and detail engineering, including definition of technical requirements for equipment, systems and structure.

Cost Control, the purpose of establishing a cost control method is to provide the client with the maximum program and project obtainable within his budget. This control includes bidding alternates and careful selection of materials and methods which assure strict adherence to the established budget.

Bidding and Negotiating Phase, this phase consists of assisting the owner in obtaining construction bids or negotiating with a contractor and in the awarding of said construction contract. It includes advice relative to the qualifications of prospective bidders, particularly if bidding is to be by invitation only. This service presupposes construction by a single general contractor.

Full Time Project Representation, On site administration is generally provided as the needs of the particular client and the nature of a project. This service would make possible a greater degree of control than is normally provided through our basic services during the administration of the construction contract phase.

Special studies, these would include any special studies required by the client to determine specific needs for a particular project. Such studies might include dynamic and vibration analysis of equipment and structures, finite element analysis of mechanical components, heat transfer analysis, Research and development program to reduce fabrication and construction cost.

Construction Administration Phase, administration of the construction contract under basic services generally includes:

  • Preparation of such supplementary drawings as may be necessary.
  • The review of fabricator's and suppliers' shop drawings, the contractor construction schedule.
  • General administration of the construction contracts including periodic visits to the sire to review progress and quality of work and to determine that in general whether the work is proceeding in conformity with the requirements of the contract documents.
  • Checking the contractors' applications for payment in such amounts as reflected by work completed.
  • Preparation of change orders covering changes approved by the owner.
  • Determination of the dates of substantial completion and final completion
